Mazdutide is a once-weekly subcutaneous GLP-1/glucagon receptor (GCGR) dual agonist derived from oxyntomodulin, originally developed by Innovent Biologics and licensed to Eli Lilly. It received its first regulatory approval from China's NMPA in 2025 for chronic weight management.
